Welcome to the website of the MGIMO-University team participating in the Nineteenth Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot 2011—2012 — one of the largest and the most prestigious international moot court competitions in the world, the true Olympics in international trade law and international commercial arbitration.
Law students of MGIMO-University (Moscow State Institute of International Relations) have participated in the Willem C. Vis Moot since 1996. In 2010 our University received 2 Honorable mentions for Best Claimant's Memorandum and Best Respondent's Memorandum. In 2011 we were awarded an Honorable mention for Best Claimant's Memorandum and the 3rd place award for Best Respondent's Memorandum. This year MGIMO Team is heading for Vienna to take part in the oral rounds for the 17th time. Our way there will go through various pre-moots in Moscow, München, Paris, Düsseldorf, Leuven and The Hague.
